The official government portal for all things SEN - the SEN toolkit is especially worth downloading.
Great homework section with useful facts on most subjects; albeit with an American slant.
Fantastic online encyclopedia and dictionary; combines the best features of Wikipedia with several other reference sites.

1/9/07 - Give Google Sets up to 5 related words or phrases and it will generate a much bigger list of things linked to original suggestions.Not sure what application this could have in the classroom, perhaps word association / ideas generator type game...
